Division of History and Historic Preservation

The Division of History and Historic Preservation creates public programming and regional and state history exhibits that significantly contribute to the field. The Division is supported by professional staff, seasonal employees, and contract services that provide high expertise to support projects and programs with living history interpretation. Curators and guest curators professionally manage artifacts featured in our exhibits and programs. In addition to our history outreach services to local communities, we offer tours, workshops, lectures, and historical re-enactments, all delivered to the highest standards of excellence and historical accuracy.

FREE ADMISSION and open year-round. Historical Interpreters Onsite from April to October.

Hours:
The division operates two historic sites: East Jersey Old Town Village and the Cornelius Low House, Wednesday–Sunday: 10 am–4 pm
