Friends of Metuchen Arts

In 2024, FOMA supported more than 30 Metuchen art events, most of which were free to the public. The list included a free jazz concert series, a county-wide jazz festival, classical chamber music performances, a Porchfest, a Moth-style storytelling program, various gallery events, artist drawing nights, and several community art events for children. In addition, FOMA, in its first grant program, awarded grants to independent and emerging artists, enabling performances, classes, and exhibitions in the community. Plans for 2025 include additional support for community theatre, dance, film, and classical music.
