Rangamandala

Rangamandala is a 501(c)(3) organization founded by Ms. Neelima Raju. Neelima is an NJ State Heritage Fellow FY 2026. We have had our presence in Middlesex County, Edison, since 2011. Our mission is to promote the South Asian literary, musical, and Performing Arts traditions. We strive to educate, inform, and entertain audiences about South Asian Arts and to seek collaborations with the world’s performing arts traditions.

Some of our recent performances, lectures, and demonstrations were for the Edison Public Library, the NJ Folk Festival, the Monmouth Arts Folk Festival, and the River Dance Festival, conducted by Roxey Ballet. We were also recently given a grant by the Friends of Metuchen Arts for a public performance of Kuchipudi, a dance/theatre tradition from India. We also hold an organizational membership from the International Dance Council, UNESCO.

We offer Kuchipudi dance training in Edison for interested students, and 9 of our former students have earned an International Dance Council Level 1 Certification in Kuchipudi.
