Mignolo Arts Center
Mignolo Arts is a 501-c3 nonprofit arts organization located in Metuchen, NJ whose mission it is to bring together artists from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. We envision a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary arts community that transcends the traditional boundaries of not only artistic disciplines, but of social constructs like age, socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, gender, and sexuality.
The company began in 2017 when sisters, Charly and Eriel Santagado, founded Mignolo Dance, our contemporary dance company. They have been dancing and creating together for more than ten years and use this experience to continue to collaborate with each other and other dancers and artists throughout the tristate area. Their work explores elements of various artistic mediums through the lens of movement.
The multipurpose arts space in Metuchen, NJ works to support local artists looking for high quality, affordable rental space for rehearsals, performances, and continued arts education.

PARKING INFO
Due to our zoning regulations, there is NO parking at our arts center and all violators will be towed at the owner’s expense, however there are 500+ parking spaces within a 5min walk!
Pearl Street Parking Garage (1 Peal St, Metuchen, NJ) – 5min walk, $5 for 3 hours
Metuchen Train Station Lot 6 (located on Halsey St) – 5min walk, $5 for 12 hours
Amboy Ave Street Parking – Meter parking available between Main St and Lake Ave, free after 6PM and on Sundays
